Co-owner Matthew Zarrella is a retired Rhode Island State Police officer and nationally recognized K-9 Search & Rescue expert with over 30 years of experience. He developed the state’s first SAR K-9 program, conducted missions across the U.S. and abroad, and helped set the standard for disaster and missing persons searches. 

His life-saving work has been featured in the documentary SEARCHDOG and inspired the Netflix film Rescued by Ruby.
